Glen Hawk Minerals Completes 43-101 Report On The San Rafael Uranium Project

| | Vancouver, B.C., August 29, 2005...Glen Hawk Minerals Ltd. (GHM.V) wishes to announce the receipt of the geological report on the San Rafael Uranium Project in Utah, prepared by Benjamin Ainsworth, P.Eng, a qualified person according to the guidelines of the TSX. Mr. Ainsworth received an honours degree in geology from Oxford University in 1962. He has been involved in uranium exploration in the 1970's while employed by Placer Development Limited and more recently as a consultant to several TSX Venture-listed companies.
The San Rafael Uranium property consists of 264 contiguous unpatented lode claims and one Utah State lease located in southeastern Utah, approximately 19 kilometres west of the village of Green River in Emery County. Access and infrastructure are excellent. A freeway, I-70, a number of secondary dirt roads, and a power line cross the claim block. The property is subject to an option agreement between Glen Hawk Minerals and Energy Metals Corporation whereby the former can earn up to 75% interest in the claims.
The San Rafael project area was intensely explored for uranium during the 1950's and for uranium and vanadium during the 1970's. The latter campaign led to the discovery of several uranium deposits, which were taken to feasibility, and some to production. Internal reports and memoranda by Conoco and Union Carbide indicate that that company drilled more than 165 holes in two sections covered by the San Rafael claims. Based on this data Conoco estimated a historical resource of 2,073,000 lbs of uranium contained in 647,525 tons, indicating and average grade of 0.16% U3O8. Note that these are not resource estimates compliant with NI 43-101 and should only be classified as exploration information reflecting an order of magnitude size and grade for the deposit.
Uranium mineralization on the San Rafael Project area lies within a stratigraphic sequence comprised of permeable sandstones of a member of the Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation. Mineralization occurs below the water table, at depths of 200 m to 350 m. According to Union Carbide, the uranium-bearing sandstone member contains a favourable channel over a mile a half wide and oriented in a northeast-southwest direction. The mineralization at San Rafael can be classified as roll front or solution front type, resulting from the dissolution and transport of uranium by oxidizing ground waters and subsequent deposition in a reducing environment. In addition to uranium, these types of deposits may contain economic concentrations of vanadium, and molybdenum, for which little or no data is reported in the currently available database.
Previous work on the San Rafael property was directed toward the discovery and development of a deposit amenable to underground mining and subsequent conventional milling. Plans for further development of these uranium occurrences were abandoned at the prevailing uranium prices of 1976.The possibility of developing an in situ leach extraction of the uranium was apparently not investigated at that time.
According to Mr. Ainsworth, "With the current increase in the price of uranium to approximately US$ 30 per pound and the possibility of using a now conventional in situ leach process for the extraction of uranium, the San Rafael Project is now a property of considerable interest". The historical data suggests that there is a significantly large volume of mineralization available for in situ leaching if hydrology and permeability permit. Furthermore, the potential exists for several other deposits to be located on the property as wide spaced drilling did intersect mineralization outside the area of the historical resource.
Based on the above Mr Ainsworth recommends a two-phase exploration program aimed at further developing the property, with emphasis in initially establishing the hydrologic regime of the mineralized areas.

The Company is very pleased with the conclusions of Mr. Ainsworth's report and plans to follow up on its recommendations to assess the in situ leaching suitability of the San Rafael mineralization. The Company is also evaluating other advanced properties which may contain uranium mineralization amenable to in situ leaching.
